His fiction and journalism have appeared in many publications, including The Paris Review, The New Yorker, The Village Voice, McSweeney's, Nerve, The Mississippi Review, The Believer, Mother Jones, and Miami New Times. He has also contributed to the anthology Politically Inspired (MacAdam/Cage Publishing, 2003) and the annual Mirth of a Nation (Perennial).
