The more you give, the more you get other charitable organizations who’ve caught wind of it politely hounding you to donate to their cause, always with that promise that it’s tax-deductible, except I do my own taxes and have no idea how to deduct charitable donations, but I sort of play fast and loose with other areas of the tax code, so it’s pretty much a wash.
