In a sun-soaked patch of bright yellow tulips, the dark Tri Beagle perches precariously on the edge of a wooden barrel. His face is plunged deep in the flower’s stamen, where his curiosity is rewarded with bliss.
Nestled in a lap made of jeans and flannel, a Corgi rascal lays on his back with his tiny paws up playfully. His visible tongue betrays an infectious excitement for what the purple harness wrapped around his body implies. Those big brown eyes plead up at you: “Take me on a walk, please, please, please, and I’ll love you forever.”
The Great Dane demonstrates splendid posture, resting on all fours atop a plush loveseat, his neck straight and chin up. He’s a beautiful Harlequin; black spots punctuate white fur until they reach a fever pitch up his neck. Slivers of white remain on the ears that perfectly frame his strong jaw, showing an expression of relaxed confidence that makes you sit up yourself.
An immaculately groomed Pomeranian emerges from under a wool blanket as if to greet only you; the white morning light spilling in from under the bedroom shades casting an almost holy aura. Maybe it’s those flirty little almond eyes nestled in that perfectly round head, or maybe it’s the way the head is cocked just so, but something about the Pomeranian’s expression says “I know your secrets. And I forgive you.”
Lying atop a skateboard, wearing a blue knit beanie and matching sweater-vest, the satin apricot Pug looks thoroughly defeated by both life and gravity. However he arrived in this situation, his heavy jowls reveal comfort with resignation.
Two Caucasian hands push back the ample cheeks of a Siberian Husky so that it looks like the puppy is smiling in a cartoonishly broad fashion. His wolf-like ears and noticeably sharp teeth contrast with his humiliation. Piercing blue eyes scream out: “I am an animal, not to be trifled with.” It’s funnier if you see it.
