Dear President Bannon,

Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. From all corners of the country comes news of a rebellion. At airports, people demand that border agents let in the foreigners you want out. At Congressional town halls, they badger representatives about the healthcare coverage you want to cut. In the Senate, not a minute of peace can be had for all the phone calls about your cabinet nominees. Nothing seems to work: neither calling the people agitators, nor claiming they’re paid by a billionaire financier. How lonely you must be! What frustration you must feel, in the evenings, when you think of the nation you want to mould in your image — as white as you, as male, Christian, and straight as you — but the only vessel you have for your vision is a man who is too greedy, too impulsive, and just too foolish to follow your instructions. Watch that crown.

Dear President Bannon,

I know it seems natural for you to impose a ‘ban-on’ Muslims, but please don’t make me go back to where I came from (West Virginia.)

Thank you,
Noor Tagouri

Dear President Bannon,

Remember those nights of passion where you promised me the world? Or at least unlimited white bed sheets? I’m still waiting.

Always yours,
David Duke
