Kristina Ten’s stories appear in The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy, We’re Here: The Best Queer Speculative Fiction, Lightspeed, Nightmare, Uncanny, and elsewhere. She has been a finalist for the Locus Award and the Washington Science Fiction Association Small Press Award, and is a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop and the University of Colorado Boulder’s MFA program in creative writing. Born in Moscow, Ten has lived most of her life in the United States.
