OYINKAN BRAITHWAITE is a graduate of creative writing and law from Kingston University London. In 2014, she was shortlisted as a top ten spoken-word artist in the Eko Poetry Slam, and in 2016, one of her stories was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize. She is the author of My Sister, the Serial Killer, which in 2019 won the Morning News Tournament of Books and the Mystery/Thriller category of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. It has also been shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction.
