R. Cross is a writer from the Midwest. She currently lives in Ann Arbor where she holds a Zell Fellowship through the University of Michigan’s Helen Zell Writers’ Program. Her fiction has been featured in Glimmer Train, SmokeLong Quarterly, Day One, Fugue, and elsewhere, and she’s a first prize recipient of Glimmer Train’s Short Story Award for New Writers. She’s currently at work on a novel and a story collection.
