Rob Shapiro received an MFA from the University of Virginia, where he was awarded the Academy of American Poets Prize. His poetry has recently appeared or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, AGNI, New England Review, and The Southern Review. He lives in New York City and is a perpetual adjunct in the Tortured Poets Department.
