Oregon Trail Moving Company and the client agree as follows:

OREGON TRAIL MOVING COMPANY’S SERVICES

Oregon Trail Moving Company provides commercial and/or residential moving services to the Client and guarantees a fast and quality delivery of your items within 6-8 months, under the terms and conditions of this agreement, in the name of advancing this great nation!

CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client is responsible for picking up belongings at drop-off location. Location will be chosen based on its capacity to farm crops, supply safe lodging, start a family and further the American dream!

OREGON TRAIL MOVING COMPANY’S COMMITMENT

Oregon Trail Moving Company agrees to perform such services diligently, using its best efforts and providing competent personnel, adequate river crossing skills, passable hunting ability, sufficient trading power, and prompt timing at the pace of your choice, averaging 6-8 months from start date, to complete the work to Protestant standards.

LIABILITY OF OREGON TRAIL COMPANY
REGARDING CLIENT’S BELONGINGS

We are responsible only for our own negligence, with the exception of the following factors:

  • water damage due to failure to successfully caulk and float across the river and/or failure to successfully ford the river
  • fire damage due to a fire in the wagon
  • lost and/or stolen items due to thieves and strangers encountered on trail
  • damages incurred due to poor morale of party members
  • lost items due to poor trading with emigrants

LIABILITY OF OREGON TRAIL COMPANY
REGARDING DURATION OF TRIP

We hold the right to change expected arrival time and location of goods at any time due to:

  • your occupation
  • change of pace
  • severe weather
  • inadequate grass
  • damage to wagon including broken wheel, broken axle and/or fire
  • inability to carry more than 200 pounds of meat back despite killing 2,000 pounds
  • capsizing of wagon in river
  • fair-to-poor morale of party members
  • fair-to-poor health of party members
  • death of one or more oxen
  • broken limbs
  • snake bites
  • death by cholera
  • death by typhoid
  • death by measles
  • death by exhaustion
  • death by dysentery

MODIFICATION OF
POLICY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In the event that entire moving party dies, Oregon Trail Moving Company is exempt from any responsibility and it is the Client’s concern to locate and retrieve remaining personal items. It is strongly encouraged that the Client purchase a tombstone, hold a brief funeral service and bury deceased party members at site of death.

The Oregon Trail Moving Company and the Client acknowledge this policy/rate forms and the terms mentioned herein on any and all work performed by The Oregon Trail Moving Company. Not all wagons make it to Oregon. God Bless America.
