Shilpa Vellore Govardhan
Shilpa Govardhan is a foreign medical graduate from India who trained all over the U.S. before ending up in Phoenix. She works in a busy cardiac unit, taking care of some extremely sick children. She feels privileged to be able to do what she does. Her husband is Greek, and they have two beautiful girls, aged 5 and 3, who travel all over the world with them in non-pandemic times. Their household is usually a cacophony of language, cuisines, opinions, music from everywhere, and (VERY) spirited debate.
